May 2016 – The Prime opens for sale. Located in Conghua, it is a 40-minute drive from Guangzhou City. The luxury residences are designed to serve equally well as country retreats or corporate villas.
September 2015 – BKIK opens with trilingual teaching (Chinese, Cantonese and English), a co-principal system (Chinese and Western), and a teaching program that meets international standards (IBPYP and HighScope).
April 2014 – Kingold Century, located on the central axis of the Zhujiang New Town central business district, officially opens for leasing. It is a pioneering design that is a model of efficiency and eco-friendliness.
October 2012 – The Bayview opens for sale. This property is the first fully glass-clad residential project in Guangzhou and has become one of the finest luxury properties in South China. In June 2013, one apartment set a record in South China with a sale price of RMB 223 million. In 2015, another apartment achieved a record sale price of RMB 180,000 per square meter.
November 2011 – KINGOLD Museum opens at Imperial Springs. It is a large-scale art and history museum approved by the national cultural heritage department, and is one of the largest private museums in South China.
October 2011 – KINGOLD leads the restructuring of the Guangdong Huaxing Bank to cater for the financial needs of SMEs and high-net-worth individuals. In 2015, it was rated as a "Most Innovative Bank" by Global Finance.
August 2011 – Imperial Springs opens. Its integrated facilities include a 6-star hotel, world-class golf, fine dining, professional conference facilities, and natural hot springs, all in one location. Since its opening, it has hosted a number of influential forums, including the Global Economic Forum, the Global Summit of SME Leaders, the China–Australia Economic Forum, and the 2015 and 2016 Imperial Springs International Forums.
June 2008 – The Asia-Pacific International Cultural Exchange Centre opens in Favorview. It is the first membership-based business club in Guangzhou, offering an exceptional social experience to Favorview Palace residents and an international cultural exchange forum to local elites and expatriates.
September 2006 – Favorview Palace Primary School opens, with its pioneering "family-style management" approach for mixed-age student groups. The curriculum includes a study-abroad program in which children in the 5th grade move to the UK for one semester to immerse themselves in a foreign culture.
June 2004 – Australia New Express Daily launches in Sydney, an important step in KINGOLD's diversification overseas.
September 2002 – Favorview Palace Kindergarten opens to meet the educational needs of children of elite families, and becomes one of the first international kindergartens in Guangzhou.
January 2002 – Sanshui Ecological Park opens as one of the largest tourism resorts in South China.
November 2001 – Favorview Palace opens for sale. This planned community marks the beginning of KINGOLD's concept of creating "exceptional lifestyle choices" for people. For three consecutive years, it is on the "Guangzhou Top Ten Properties" list.
November 1999 – Imperial Palace opens in Guangzhou, serving fine Cantonese and Chaozhou cuisine, and is rated a National Special-Grade Restaurant by The National Restaurant and Hotel Ranking Committee. Today, there are four Imperial Palace restaurants in Guangzhou and Beijing.
August 1997 – Located at No. 1 Linhexi Road, Guangzhou International Trade Center becomes one of Guangzhou's first Grade A smart office buildings in the Tianhebei central business district.
August 1996 – Huiqiao New City opens for sale. For three consecutive years, from 1996 to 1998, its sales volume ranks first in the Guangzhou property market. In 2000, it was recognized one of the top building complexes in Guangzhou.
September 1996 – KINGOLD Property Cooperation is established to maintain the exceptional quality of our properties, and becomes one of the first Guangdong companies to obtain the Level I national qualification for property management.
May 1992 – Guangdong Foreign Businessmen Hotel opens as the first membership-based hotel in Mainland China.
